Ingredients:
- Basmati rice 1 glass
2. Water 1 and ¾ glass
3. Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
4. Cinnamon stick 2 inch
5. Black cardamom 1
6. Dry red chili 2
7. Bay leaves 2
8.Ghee 2 tbsp
9. Cpopped coriander leaves 1/3 cup
10. Salt ½ tsp(as your taste)
How to make:

Turn on the flame, heat apan.
Let the pan heat.
Add ghee in the pan.
Add cinnamon stick,cardamom, dry red chili and bay leaves. - Fry it for few seconds Add cumin seeds. Fry cumin seeds for 10-15 seconds on medium flame .
- Add washed rice.Stir it.Add water (1 and ¾ glass) .
- Stir it.add ½ tsp salt.stir it.
- Cover the pan and cook it on high flame till it starts boiling.
- After boiling reduce the flame to medium and cook it for 7-8 minutes,cover the pan partially.
- In boiling sir it.you may remove the whole spices except cumin seeds.Open the lid ,sire it.
- Cover half of the pan and cook it for 2-3 minutes on low on the low flam.
- Cover the pan and cook it for a minutes on low flame.
- Make sure there is no water left, check with knife /fork.
- Turn off the flame , cover the pan and leave the rice for 8-10 minutes.
- Jeera rice is ready.
- Add chopped coriander leaves and mix it.
- Take out in a serving bowl.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
